Fees: Payment is due for the 10 Week Session prior to the first day of class. Please make check payable to “High Dive Champions”. There are no refunds once the session begins.
Make Up Classes If you miss a class or you anticipate missing a class, please arrange a make up class in the 10-week session. Make up classes cannot be carried forward to a future session. To arrange a make up class, you can simply leave Coach Mike Darland a message when you will be coming at 914 522-5440. Coach Darland will call you back if an alternate plan is necessary.
Pool Rules Purchase College requires all parents, caregivers and spectators to watch practice from the stands in the balcony. Please refrain from coming onto the pool deck. If you need your child before a practice is over, please alert a coach so they can assist the child off the pool deck. I have an open practice policy. Our sport and your child's development is a wonderful thing to watch and I encourage you to watch practice whenever you wish.
Bad Weather Bad weather rarely closes the pool. If there is a situation, like a severe winter storm, that you think may close the pool, please call Coach Mike Darland at 914 522-5440. Thunderstorms at Purchase College require the pool be cleared for 20 minutes without another sound of thunder. In this event, the diving for a class may be limited, however, we are allowed to train on the trampoline so classes will continue with this training.
Diving Meet Travel Fees & Special Travel Events Diving Coach meet expenses include travel, hotel, meals and other normal and customery expenses associated with a meet or special event. Total expenses are projected prior to the event and divided by the number of team members attending the meet. The meet travel fee, which is seperate from the diving meet registration fee, will be communicated to all registered divers prior to a meet. Payment is due to Mike Darland payable to "High Dive Champions" prior to traveling to the meet or event(Fee is non-refundable). Normal regional meet fees are $25 per diver per event registered.
