Future Stars & High Dive Champions join forces
Future
Stars summer camp is one of the largest and longest running sports and
achievement summer camps for kids in New York. Started in 1980 as a
tennis camp, the Future Stars camp steadily grew to include other sports
such as basketball, baseball, soccer, lacrosse and circus arts. The
Future Stars philosophy is to employ highly trained professionals with
expertise to run the individual sports disciplines to provide every
camper a fun, safe and disciplined environment in which they feel comfortable and secure. The goal is to create a perfect environment so each camper may maximize his or her potential in their chosen sport or endeavor and have a fun summer camp experience.
In 2008 Future Stars began it's diving camp, hiring High Dive Champions Head Coach Mike Darland as the director. Coach Darland has put together an outstanding group of coaches who assist him with the camp. For example, Olympic Coach Dick Kimball is one of the visiting coaches for two week every summer!
This Diving Camp is designed to reach individual goals
Campers work in teams of similar abilities toward identified goals.
Beginner and novice divers work towards a solid foundation
of diving skills. Intermediate divers work towards learning a
competitive list of dives. Advanced divers work towards advanced
techniques and dives to increase their competitive standing.
This Diving Camp has state of the art tools to advance all divers

1-meter boards, Two 3-meter boards, Two trampolines, Spotting rigs on
the trampoline and over 2 diving boards, Video and Dartfish analysis,
Sparging system, Hot Tub, we have it all!

Ages 7-17 Boys & Girls
Sign up for any number of weeks of camp. Diving camp normally starts the third week of June and runs through the second week of August.
